The latest issue of Prehistoric Times has come out; alas, the art isn't up to its usual standards, and worse, several feathered dinosaurs sully the pages of my former favorite magazine. Here we have a chimera masquerading as a deinonychus: This is allegedly an oviraptor. Remember juravenator, the dinosaur they found last year that convinced everybody except the birdy-paleontologists that dinosaurs never had feathers? Well, so muleheaded are the dinosaurologists and wedded to their discredited cladistic theory that, despite the lack of evidence--in fact, the existence of evidence directly contradicting their theory--they still insist dinosaurs are birds. Hence we now have, with NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS WHATSOEVER, a FEATHERED juravenator: No wonder serious, accredited scientists don't take dinosaurologists seriously. They don't deserve to be taken seriously, given their blatant disregard of the fossil evidence.

Good Lord. If anyone thought depictions of dinosaurs with fuddurs could not get any worse... here's something that is purported to be a deinonychus. *Feels like hurling bricks at the monitor* So much for 'terrible claw'. And here's a struthiomimus with fuddurs on its arms and back. But Pelecanimimus, a close relative of the ostrich-mimics, was discovered with skin impressions that clearly showed that not only were there no feathers, there were no follicles to produce feathers, and there were not even scales. So where did the feathers come from? *Loathes wikipedia*

I never really understood why so many paleontologists are trying to prove that dinosaurs had feathers. I mean, ok archaeopteryx had feathers but that doesn't mean other dinosaurs did. And what amazes me is the same so called scientist who claim dinosaurs had feathers but don't have evidence will declare that in order for them to believe that the nessie exists there must be evidence, what a bunch of hypocrites.
