As noted on the other site, in October National Geographic will be premiering a film about Sea Monsters. Given some of the other NG specials I've seen, like Sky Monsters, I'm skeptical the CGI will be as good as the BBC productions. Also, there are a lot more paleontological talking heads, and I'm just after the mosasaurs. However, I would recommend the book that will be released to accompany the series. It's written by Mike Everhart, the foremost authority on the sea creatures in the Kansas Ocean.

Hi,
I saw it at the Smithsonian in 3D and it was impressive. Not sure what the DVD will be like but have ordered it from Netflix to check it out.

The small childrens book wasn't that good..saw it at Books-A-Million over the weekend..mainly enlarged screenshots from the film which were kind of blurry.. :?
I've had the dvd since the first of July..Walmart was carrying it for 15.00 ...it's just like the big-screen version..just not 3D unfortunatly...but it's a neat little story and kept the kids entertained and me of course as well....lol..even though I saw it at the IMAX in Myrtle Beach.
