UPDATE on the Linde lot: I just found out that the Rhamphorhyncus alone costs $69 in the PT catalogue *Checks Dinosaur Collectibles book* Yup, the rhamphorhynchus goes for 60-80, and the others are 15-25 each, so you saved at least $100-150 *Sigh* My collection looks more puny than ever Soon tomhet will be going for the Chialu figures that cost 200-300 each ;D

Soon tomhet will be going for the Chialu figures that cost 200-300 each ;D Not to mention they are incredibly ugly The 'vintage' ends here for me, methinks. Although in 30 years I will be like those old guys on PT, writing about my own childhood and how that determined my taste for dinos ;D

2.00 for a Tylo by any maker is a good deal as far as I'm concerned... wish Safari would crank one out already.... Of course my local shop hasn't ordered new stock from them since the first of Dec... last time I checked they were even out of T-Rexs.... sigh...

I was down in Pittsburgh on Thursday to see Adam Kowalczyk play and stopped at the Carnegie Natural History Museum. I picked up a Carnegie Giganotosaurus and Allosaurus (the grey version) I was hoping that they would have the new Wild Safari Velociraptor but unfortunately they didn't have it.

Sweet lot...I like the Plesio but there certainly some other nice figures there...I think I have a version of the Nothosaurus...someone really needs to make a nice replica of one. I've buying Dinosaur King figures as of late...I have a lot of the smaller pieces on order and just received the 15" Triceratops and 19" T-Rex by Sega from Japan..these are really cool.. pics : ga.sbcr.jp/g-toys/sega/070216aou/01/index.html

Please let us know if the small Dino King figures are good; I might consider importing them for my store

For some reason I felt like commemorating the day when Canada Revenue can begin officially ripping me off , but I found a few things: 1. The Canadian Mint silver $4 triceratops coin. 2. The Revell Snap Tite Pteranodon. The box said it was "molded in colour", but when I opened the box it was all grey But on the bright side, I could paint it like the WwD/CbD pteranodon They also had a dimetrodon, if I can find a good pic from Walking with Monsters I'll buy one and paint it the same way as the BBC dimetrodon *Grumbles at Toyway for not releasing more figures* 3. Heh, I knew there were many souvenir animals that could represent Canada, but I didn't know a triceratops was one of them ;D I saw a small one at the dollar store waving the Maple Leaf ;D 4. Perhaps best of all, I bought a few meters of plastic sheeting. It was supposed to act like a cheap tablecloth, but I could use the plastic to cover the dustjackets of the dinosaur books I have ;D
