Well, it seems like not everything's a lost cause here in Mexico. I found this exhibit (it's located inside a subway station) and the best thing is: a) apparently they sell the models and b) they give some modelling courses. As far as I can tell, the models were created by several sculpters. I found several errors (major typos : and not all the info is correct (the little T-Rex has feathers, they still believe that the Seismosaurus is a new species and the Liopleurodon is HUGE, at least 80 cm, what would translate into something like 50 mt : but what the hell, they tried to use the same scale, and that's something; IMHO some of these could beat Carnegie or even Schleich. I uploaded pictures of the whole exhibit. Thor, if that's too much, I'll remove some if you want. Tapejara A baby of who knows what (I think it was a Kritosaurus) A nice Utahraptor A Therizinosaurus (another incredible Chinese dinosaur : A decent Giganotosaurus A Sarcosuchus with an Ouranosaurus Big sailed dinos (Spinosaurus, Irritator and Suchomimus) Albertosaurus & Allosaurus Kritosaurus & Tsintaosaurus Ceratopsids (I guess they were the best) A huge Quetzalcoatlus Two versions of Ankylosaurus Stegosaurus & Amargosaurus A quite decent T-Rex... with fuzzy offspring Albertosaurus - Detail Suchomimus - Detail Saber-toother cat Lambeosaurus 'Seismosaurus' & Argentinosaurus Elasmosaurus - Close-up Several extremely well-done mammals Marine critters (you can actually see me and part of my beard on this one ) I didn't like the Liopleurodon, though

Sorry, I killed the pics a while ago. They look like Max Salas' mammals, but I don't think this is his work, as far as I remember, they were done by several people who lived here in Mexico City. Max Salas lives in another state.
