Papo, with Carnegie/Safari a very close second.

Given that Papo kind of leaned on Jurassic Park (the movie) there is a certain crossover. In absolute numbers I have to say that the early JP wins my vote, with Papo a close second. Battat comes in third.

Yeah..tough call really...Carnegie's been there for me for years...my first really nice dinosaurs came from them courtesy of my grandmother visiting Disney World...lol so a lot of memories there... Kenner's JP line is pretty much tied with em' though...talk about firing a kids imagination... Papo is producing so great detailed pieces...mostly JP..which is a good thing but they tie into the movie mainly...so just under Kenner I guess. Kaiyodo has some great detailed models..but you can't find em' anywhere anymore...most of these Carnage, Battat..just ended too soon...but made great pieces of their own.

I believe that the original Kenner Tyrannosaurus Rex, The JP.09 is still the greatest Dino-Toy yet made. It is comparatively realistic, almost unbreakable, beautifully posed, stands on its =own and when it doesn't a short stint in hot water can fix any balance problem. The T-Rex Jr, (JP.06) is also pretty good and one of the best ever in its own right, Then the Coelophysii complete a trio of wonderful toys that all appeared sixteen years ago and have yet to be equalled. Add the Triceratops and you have four of the best toys ever. Papo has certainly taken a giant step forward with the creation of the multi-colored Allosaurus in its beautiful action pose and (now PAPO carnivore standard) movable jaw. The skin detail on Papo has been exquisite for awhile now but the way the color varies across the Allosaurs' body is really exquisite.
But this is a "toyline" question and the best all around toy is, I believe, that great T-Rex. ROAR.... STOMP....
