Horrors. I've been scooped on Papo news by someone on the other site. *Faints from shock* Anyways, apparently Papo is packaging the raptor and triceratops in a presentation box. The box is inspired by Schleich packaging for its knights series. (Yup, in terms of originality Papo has ways to go ;D ).

Hmm, Papo has released a new line of mini-figure sets of horses & fantasy figures this year. Hopefully they'll get around soon to doing mini-dino figs

Papo's quality control has deteriorated, it's almost as bad as Hasbro's Here's a pic of one of the latest listings on eBay of the Papo rex. Notice that the color of the upper jaw has nothing to do with the color of the rest of its body.

We knew this day would come, that Papo becomes so full of themselves they lose their quality control.

It's a miracle--the local toy store now carries Papo dinos Alas, they haven't been best-sellers--there are still parasaurolophuses, pachys, trikes, and stegos available--in a better world they would have sold out and a lucrative black market develop ;D -- though the rex is indeed sold out. I asked about Papo spino but they don't have it, and they're not sure when it is coming in I noticed that the parasaurolophuses are now painted slightly differently--they are less green and more tan/yellow now.

And I still think it looks good, just looks like they are being a litle sparing with the paint, it actually looks a little more real to me.

The "June 2007" date on the Papo website under the Papo Spinosaurus has been removed. Hopefully this means the spino is now in transit to the retail outlets May can't come soon enough.

I've seen it on Ebay, many sellers have listed it, and they are not saying "this is a presale" anymore. I wonder if it's already available. [drools thinking about papo spinos]

I think those from eBay sellers in Europe are already available; there's one from Texas (icountrystore) who is listing dozens of them, but I'm not absolutely certain whether she has them in stock already. Tgftoys lists it as "coming soon". I was about to order from one of the European sellers, but the shipping costs are nightmarish
