For 2007 Schleich is putting several of its dinosaurs out to pasture. They are the edmontonia, the parasaurolophus (to be replaced by an updated model this September), the shonisaurus -- I'm stunned by the last one, it's been out only 2 years and is one of their best models, the kronosaurus, albertosaurus (now this one I'm happy will be gone), the ouranosaurus, elasmosaurus, ceratosaurus, and carnotaurus.

The Kronosaur? The Shonisaur? But I have yet to acquire either, this blows!

They'll probably still be available from the usual outlets for the next several months

I have received word that Schleich has been sold (don't know to whom). How this affects the dino releases remains to be seen. The main effect seems to have been the mass retirement of all but 15 or so dinosaurs

Link and Pin Hobbies has confirmed that most of the old Schleich Replica Saurus line is disappearing this year

Link and Pin Hobbies for some reason has stopped carrying the entire Schleich line. Wonder what this portends...
