not long before i stoped my obcessive dinosaur spending i bought this lot of jurassic park dinosaurs. There was one dinosaur i could not distinguish but all i saw was the color on its tail and i had a feeling it was a battat rex. So i bought the lot and my hunch was right. It was the standing on tail version.

1. Battat diplodocus--it was advertised in a lot of JP toys, but I recognized right away it wasn't JP. Fortunately the seller didn't realize what it was worth, so I got it and a whole lot of JP toys for 30  I sold the JP stuff, so essentially the lot almost paid for itself ;D 2. Papo rex--Before it was de rigueur to JP fans to collect the Papo rex, I had one of them shipped over from Germany. I was very likely the first collector in North America to have a Papo rex. Hence my title the Papo King ;D |

About 7 years ago, I'm visiting some relatives in Arizona. We hit up a museum in Phoenix, and go to the gift shop. I remember buying this figure that looked awesome for like $5 or so. Well, I found it about 4 months ago, and was showing it to a friend(uber dino collector). She went nuts! Turns out I have myself a Battat Carnotaurus(red/black).

A few days ago I was looking through the garage for some fishing poles and came across one of my sister's old lunch boxes. When I opened it I found a bunch of cheap dinosaurs, mostly those gray raptors, and not only a Battat Triceratops but also a Battat Gallimimus.  When I asked her about them she told me that she didn't want them and I could have them. In the excitement of things I forgot all about the fishing poles so unfortunately I'll have to go back into the spider infested garage and find them.  |

Maybe you'll find more Battats Yeah, I wish. I braved the spiders and looked through the other 3 lunch boxes that were out there and all I found was some old micro machines. If I ever get my hands on another acrocanthosaurus you'll be the first I'll e-mail. |
