The dinosaurcollector site has preview pics of Safari 2008 dinosaurs. It includes the ones giga mentioned before (oviraptor, triceratops, stegosaur, velociraptor) and the Safari diplodocus, but also a giganotosaurus and an allosaurus If these are additions to the Wild Safari line, then WS will be even more collectible than the main Carnegie line.

And I'll definitely be getting the WS oviraptor, which will undergo a thorough feather deplucking ;D

The dinosaurcollector site didn't mention any date, just that these were sneak previews. From Link and Pin Hobbies, the Safari diplodocus is scheduled for January 2008, and the oviraptor in April, but nothing confirmed on the giganotosaur and allosaur.

As of right now, it seems like a strong year for Safari dinos.

*sees big pics* *loses control of sphincters* OMFG! I cannot believe how great they all are!!! I loved the unorthodox paint scheme on the Diplo The theropods seem a little bit famelic, but other than that, they're perfect. Daddy likes

Depends. The Carnegie dinosaurs are around $6-10 (except the sauropods, which cost 20 USD and up). The Wild Safari dinos are around 4-8 USD.
