A Toying Around?! exclusive!--though I'm sure our fearless admin won't give me brownie points I was browsing through eBay when I came across these figures that may bear some resemblance to Papo figures, which in turn bears some resemblance to JP dinos.
Looks familiar ;D
The triceratops actually doesn't look too shabby.
Something seems awry with the placing of the stego's plates, but otherwise it's a decent figure. They even have the ossicles in the neck of the stegosaur, which Papo omitted.
The rex though looks quite different (wonder where they copied it from). It still looks better than the JP3 Hasbrosaurs.
The pteranodon in the series looks icky though, probably because they borrowed the color scheme from the reakatak pteranodon. (Of all the pteranodons to rip off they chose an Hasbrosaur. Idiots ;D ) The brachiosaur is ok, but nothing fancy:
*Tempted to order, except that Papo is still better looking* ;D
EDIT: I just received information from the seller that the manufacturer is Procon (Asia) Limited. From my research on the net they are new to the toy business, being a first time exhibitor at the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair. Their goal is to produce 'Educational scale animal models with highest quality & superior detail'. Apparently these dinos will be marketed in Canada later this year. They also distribute animal models under the name of the RSPCA for the UK. Their website is still pretty basic though, the only products they have featured are an elephant and some other African animals. The dinos aren't on yet. I would have thought dinosaurs are a surer attraction

I should change my screen name to Dino Toy Researcher ;D
