Hopefully our fearless admin would indulge this thread (I placed it in the "other toys" board because the ultimasaurus isn't a dinosaur ;D ). Since it is very unlikely that we'll ever see additional images of the ultimasaurus from the seller or the buyer (if it is stephanie, he has a deep grudge against jptoys), I decided to collate and edit some images of the ultimasaurus from eBay and the 'other site'. Here's the ultimasaur on eBay: Here's an image of the ultimasaur on eBay with colours inverted, to clarify the outline of the toy: A shot of the catalogue ultimasaur: Before coming to any conclusion though about the ultimasaur we have to bear in mind that this is Hasbr* we are talking about, so quality control may be iffy and inconsistent

I think this belongs in Dino toys, as it is JP. The frill on the actualy toy looks bigger than the prototype.

*Papo dinos are aghast that JP toys are considered dinosaurs ;D * "The times! the morals!" ;D Yup, the length of the frill is the most noticeable difference between the actual toy and the prototype and catalog shots, and the paint job isn't the same, and the snout of the actual toy looks elongated. Still, those flaws may be attributed to Hasbro's manufacturing boo-boos , so it's hard to tell just by looking. If it is a custom and if was properly executed, even photos will not reveal anything, so until the buyer actually receives the toy we'll never know.

At least that's what the seller wants us to believe.
