I took these pictures of two of the versions, both 'skate' version and what I believe is third version. Nonetheless I had read somewhere that 3rd version was unable to stand on its own, and this one stands perfectly on its unpadded feet. Could it be first version? I took several pics so you could see the differences between them. As stated on rubberdinos, the unpadded version is thinner than the other, its snout is a little bit longer as well. The shape of the head is different, it actually reminded me of the head of the Acrocanthosaurus. All in all, I liked the padded version a whole lot better. It's more robust and the face has a much cooler expression. OK, in this one you can see the face (skated version is on the right side) In this you can see the back (the padded version was unable to stand on its own, so it's the one that stands on a tiny lock) And the head (the skated version is closer to the camera) Whole body shots of each one of them. Unpadded version: Rex with skates:

Tomhet, I didn't know you had 2 Battat rexes I'm falling behind ;D The Battat rex had cosmetic surgery in between versions ;D I kind of like the posture of the unpadded version better, though its snout does seem a bit too long.

I like the version without the feet pads.

I got the other one when I bought some stuff from thelordsgym. I payed for it months ago, but the postal service has been excruciatingly slow I do like the position of the unpadded one, but the one with skates seems more menacing ;D So what do you think? Is this 3rd version? Now that I think about it, I've never seen first version

Hmm, I've never seen the first version too, except for the catalogue pic. I think it's the 3rd version, I read somewhere that the first version was never able to stand on its own, so for the 3rd attempt the pose was modified and the body lightened to make it possible to balance the rex properly, and the tail bent downward as a prop. Battat should be ashamed that they couldn't make the rex stand on its own for the 2nd version, even with pads on the feet
